Creating Better Surroundings for Education On September 10th, 2006 the Blazers teamed up with students from the XY Zone at Johnston High School to clean up an interior courtyard just outside their classroom. Together they built a walkway made from landscape timbers and recycled glass paving material. The team also planted flowers and bushes around the perimeter of the courtyard while removing overgrown landscaping. Later this semester, the group plans to add a picnic table and covering to the wood platform in the photo above.
